MAEGAN FOX
Maegan is a proud small business owner who has built a successful pet grooming business and has learned the industry from the ground up. Proud daughter of a retired FDNY Fire Marshall, she was raised in an environment where being a First Responder was something to always look up to and be proud of. Originally from Baldwin, NY, Maegan has a strong bond with her friends and her First Responder family.
ANDY FOX
Andy is a Locomotive Engineer for the Long Island Rail Road. Originally from Merrick, NY. Andy grew up performing music and in the mid-1990s toured with his band and released an album. Being a person who is always willing to go up in front of an audience, he speaks for the group and enjoys energizing a crowd. Over the years he has organized several fundraisers to benefit Rescue Animals, Veterans, First Responders, and Cancer Support organizations.
Candace Kearney
Secretary of the Board
Candace is a Financial Planner at Money Concepts with over 25 years of experience in assisting people achieve their goals. Philanthropy has been an active part of her life since her childhood, especially in horseback riding helping people with special needs. Long time friends Andy and Maegan started PTAC to be a true 1st Responder support organization and that struck a passion in Candace to help serve the people who protect us. She has always understood the pertinent need for a solid foundation married with understanding on how to keep an organization growing while making sure all the boxes are checked. In this capacity, she could be known as compliance.
Larry Burke

Larry is retired from a 44 year career in education where he worked as an elementary school teacher and district computer specialist. He spent 12 years teaching computer instruction at the University level and completed his career as a University Administrator.
Throughout the years Larry has served as board member and officer of many boards and organizations including President of his University Alumni Association, President of the Baldwin Retired Teachers Organization, Chairman of his church counsel and 23 years as Vice President of his local civic association.
Larry has been deeply dedicatedto Project Thank A Cop's commitment of supporting first responders and their families.
Joan Phillips
Wellness Coordinator
Joan Phillips, a Psychotherapist, Credentialed Alcohol Substance Abuse Counselor, and Certified Yoga Teacher has joined PTAC because of her passion for supporting first responders and fostering positive relationships between them and the community. As the wife and mother of FDNY, NCPD and NYPD scuba team member, she has a personal connection to this mission. Her experience as a psychotherapist gives her valuable and unique insights into the mental health challenges faced by first responders and their families. This allows her to offer supportive and confidential counseling through her company, Mind Matters Counseling. She has deep respect for the sacrifices and dedication of our first responders and is driven to strengthen community bonds and show appreciation for their tireless work. She is also working on expanding PTAC's programs to include a comprehensive volunteer program and increased community involvement. She cherishes spending time with her family, especially her five grandchildren, and husband Brian on their boat.

Santa has been a friend to all Police and First Responders for more years than he can remember. He is honored to be able to partner with Project Thank A Cop and assist them in their mission to support those who selflessly protect and defend us every day and night.
Santa is proud to work with Project Thank A Cop in collecting toys for the pediatric patients. Even though he lives at the North Pole, he helps deliver toys along his route for special delivery to the children at NYU Langone Mineola
